Illinois Non-Resident Deer Permits and License Information
2010 - 2011 Illinois Non-Resident Archery tag applications are available now!
You can apply for these bowhunting permits
either by phone at 1-888-6PERMIT (1-888-673-7648),
or online at DNR Direct Online License Sales.
Of the 25,000 allocated archery permits, 7,500 are reserved for clients of outfitters.
If you opt into this pool, these permits are good only on lands controlled by the outfitter specified on your license.
Our 2009 outfitter number is (DT0900128).
A combination non-resident archery permit entitles you to take one buck and one doe.
The fee for these tags is $410.00.
Additional antlerless only tags are available over the counter, as needed, for $25.50 each.
Either-Sex Firearm, and Muzzleloader, permits are $300, Antlerless Only are $25, and the Combination is $325.
Call us, and we will tell you which counties to enter as your first and second choices, to increase the odds that you will get your permit.
Both Either-Sex and Antlerless Only Shotgun and Muzzleloader tags are allocated by county, and are available to residents first.
Non-residents can purchase any that remain during a second drawing.
Additional Antlerless Only permits are $25, and can be applied for after that drawing, until the allocation for
each county is sold out.
Non-Resident Shotgun and Muzzleloader Applications should be available for download beginning in
July, with a mail-in deadline in early August.
In addition to any deer hunting permit, all non- resident hunters are required to purchase either a 5-Day (28.75) or an Annual (50.75) Hunting License, and a Habitat Stamp (5.50).
You should always wait until you have your tags before purchasing any hunting license!
