Illinois Non-Resident Deer Permits and License Information

The first application period for Non-Resident Archery tags ended in June.
The remainder of the tags, that were not applied for then, went back on sale beginning August 12th,
on a first come-first served basis!
We hear that there are still a few available, if you want to plan a hunt.
But, it is time to act, cause they won't last forever!

Our 2007 outfitter number was (DT0700128). After June it should have changed to (DT0800128), for the 2008 season.

A combination non-resident archery permit entitles you to take one buck and one doe.
The fee for these tags is $400.00.
Additional antlerless only tags are available over the counter, as needed, for $15.50 each.

Shotgun and Muzzleloader tags are allocated by county, and are available to residents first.
Both either-sex and antlerless only tags are offered, and non-residents can purchase any that remain during a second drawing.

The Second Drawing for Non-Resident Shotgun and Muzzleloader tag applications will be completed shortly.
And, we will soon know if there are any remaining permits.
If so, we will be able to book a last minute hunt.
BE SURE TO CHECK WITH US BY EMAIL BEFORE YOU APPLY, as we have to tell you which county you will be hunting in.

An Either-Sex Firearm permit is $300, Antlerless Only is $15, the Combination is $315.
A Muzzleloader Either-Sex permit costs $250, Antlerless Only is $15, and the Combination is $265.
Additional Antlerless Only permits are $15, and can be applied for after the drawing, until the allocation for each county is sold out.
We will post details later in the year.

In addition to any deer hunting permit, all non- resident hunters are required to purchase either a 5-Day (28.75) or an Annual (50.75) Hunting License, and a Habitat Stamp (5.50).
