Our Rules For a Great Hunt:
- First and foremost; Have a good time!!!
- All hunters must be correctly licensed, and in compliance with all game laws.
- Hunters must check in at Quail Shed headquarters upon arrival.
- Sign in book, and all paperwork, must be signed and completed before your hunt begins.
- Bows and guns are to be in a case, or locked, in accordance with the law, when transporting them in any vehicle.
- No loaded weapons inside any buildings or vehicles.
- Hunters must stay in assigned area, and property boundaries must be observed at all times. No trespassing will be allowed.
- If you shoot a deer and see it go down on the property you are hunting you may walk to it to tag it.
Otherwise, you must contact the outfitter immediately for assistance in finding the deer.
- Contact the outfitter promptly after killing or wounding any deer.
- Deer drives and stalking are prohibited.
- Hunters will not be allowed on any hunting ground during non-hunting hours without the consent of, or without, the outfitter or guide.
- All hunters must check in with outfitter, or guide, every evening.
- All deer must be brought to The Quail Shed headquarters for collection of biological data.
- No vehicles are allowed off established farm roads.
- Do not drive into fields after it has rained.
- No use of 4-wheelers allowed, except by approval of outfitter to recover deer.
- Full body harnesses, or safety vests with fall restraints, required in all tree stands.
- Do not litter hunting area.
- No spotlighting.
- No screw in steps in trees.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed in the field.
- Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or violating the rules of safety or sportsmanship, or state or federal game laws, will
be banned from further hunting with The Quail Shed. Respect other hunters!
